[MUSIC PLAYING] - Purpose is our North Star. It's more than what's in your bank account. It's more than the praise that somebody might give you for doing a good job. It's that intrinsic knowing why you do something. When I'm running ultramarathons, I literally imagine that my purpose hooks me right here and is literally pulling me to the finish line. But I actually-- it's a very visual conversation that I have with myself, as well as a spiritual one. And we always have to have moments where we revisit the true value system and the true purpose without bells and whistles and without applause because that's when you know if you truly are in it for the hustle or if you're in it for the accolades and the praise. [MUSIC PLAYING] A meaningful mantra can be an internal trigger for just about anything-- for good, for positive, for positivity, for momentum, for agency, for the spark. A mantra is a spark. And the only way the spark is going to light a fire is if it's meaningful to you. My mantra practice really developed as a runner. When I was training for marathons and ultramarathons and you're out there for a lot a lot of hours, oftentimes alone, with just an internal conversation. So I started to develop a mantra practice that would light me up, that would keep me going. And the mantra that I developed was two words-- I am. You generally want your mantra to, A, be meaningful; B, be short; and C, be positive, right? So a mantra that requires, you know, minutes to say probably isn't as effective as something that's two, three, four, or five words that is that that immediate internal trigger. And guess what-- it could be mumbo-jumbo. Your mantra could be something that is a completely made-up word. But if it's meaningful to you and it and it creates that positive momentum, then it works. I generally think that folks can develop a few different mantras, maybe of one mantra for your personal life and romantic relationships. You have one mantra to calm down. You have another mantra to rev up. And then you have to practice it. It's just like anything else. It's not going to be meaningful to you unless that small voice in your head starts to understand that that is a vehicle to something else. And you have to know where you're going in order for that vehicle to be effective. Think about the journey. Think about what you want to feel at the end, and start practicing the mantra in moments when you can create that energy. [MUSIC PLAYING] A vision board is a visual representation of a dream, of a goal, of an intention, of a feeling, of something you want to achieve in this next chapter of your life. And different vision boards can serve different things. You might have an entire vision board about romantic pursuits. You might have another about family relationships. You might have another about physical pursuits, about work, certainly about work. And for me, my vision boarding really started with m...
