[MUSIC PLAYING] - What I want to talk about is how you pick a team, how you develop a team, how you function within a team, how a team comes together, and what your role is within that team, and what your role is as someone who's guiding that team, and everything that goes with it. And that's probably the fundamental thing that we try to teach is that when you're on a team and you can become a great teammate and function properly within a team system, then you can be successful at anything you do. The biggest reward of being a great teammate is you'll always have a team to be on the rest of your life because someone will always want you as a teammate. That in itself is the greatest reward. Forget about, well, they'll pay me more. I'll get more promotions, you know. That is neither here nor there. And I know that's why people work obviously. To me the greatest reward is you know your peers, people that you respect, want you on their team. That to me says it all because that means they value you as an individual and they value your skill. Because if it was just skill but you were a horrible teammate, they wouldn't want you on that team. So the greatest reward is from the day you're born until the day you die, you will always be invited to play golf, to go on vacations, to do anything that involves a group. They will want you as part of that group because of who you are and what you bring. [MUSIC PLAYING] Well, I think when you're born, that's your first team. And some people when they're born, they have a whole bunch of teammates. And sometimes you're the only one. Sometimes you have two parents. Sometimes you have one. Sometimes none. But that's your first team. And everything's about you all the time. You're the center of the universe, okay? And then as you get a little bit older, you learn sometimes it's not about me. Sometimes my parents or whoever is going to make a decision that I don't like. But it benefits the team, benefits the family. Your other teammates are happy as hell. But you are a whiner because you're not getting your way anymore. And then two weeks later, your parents or whoever make a decision that you love. And you're happy, and you're loving life. And your siblings, your teammates, now they become the whiners. And all along you start to understand that sometimes decisions are going to be made that you like, some you don't like. But you start to respect the fact that the number one decision has to be made is what's best for our team, what's best for our family. And that's your first experience with it. And then it just grows from there. You know, you try out for a team. You're in the band. You know, you're in the drama club, computer club, chess club, whatever the case may be. It continues for the rest of your life. [MUSIC PLAYING] So you want to be a great pianist. Okay, you get together with the best teacher that you can find. And now you individually master t...
