KRIS JENNER: I think visual storytelling is a really important part of your social media platform and your experience because that's what's really going to capture the attention of somebody scrolling through and helping you to stand out. And that doesn't mean being over-provocative or crazy. It just means trying to create content that resonates with the follower, the person viewing your page, that sets you apart from anyone else. [MUSIC PLAYING] You almost use your social media platform as its own individual personality. It's something that evolves over time, but you can definitely strategize and think about who you want to be on social media before you get there. For us, as a family and a brand, we really didn't have that opportunity because social media came after our show. It wasn't like we could recreate ourselves, nor would we want to. But I'm just saying that the opportunity to do so when you're starting off these days is much-- you have the advantage to really think it through and be who you want to be. You have to be super careful because you only have one chance to make a good first impression. And you also have to really analyze what it is you're posting because if you make a mistake, it's out there for everyone to see. Even a word spelled wrong can be a big deal. And so you have to really think about your content, think about the visual, which is super important, and think about even the punctuation. It all adds up to your story. [MUSIC PLAYING] So if I had to rate the top three elements of a video message, I think, first of all, it should be spoken. People love when you talk. It should be a selfie. People love to see you. And it should be something really interesting about your product or your brand. So they hear what you're talking about, they see you, and they hear your message. Any time Kylie and Kendall or Kim-- any of the family-- does a video that's a tutorial, it's like magic. Everyone loves to see the girls demonstrating the products or the fashion as if they're talking just specifically to that person, showing them how to do makeup or showing them how to style their look. - So now that I'm corrected and I'm concealed, I need to bake. And I like to use baking number two. - And I think that any time you give a tutorial on anything like that and give those sorts of tips, it's really successful. I have created for myself a little routine where when I am posting my kid's brands-- for example, last night, I went home and, of course, I had a new launch from Kim and Skims. And I did a story post and said how great the product looked and how amazing the new launch is, and that I couldn't wait to wear it. I can't always stop and try something on or put on a new makeup, but I can talk about it. And they hear my voice, and they know it's current and real because they see that it's launching that day. And at least I can be a part of the process, be supportive of my family, and post so...
