- OK no, no, no, don't worry. RINGO STARR: I love to jam. You know, it's such a great moment for a lot of guys just to play. Not all musicians can jam. I'm blessed. With all the people in the All Starrs, we do a sound check and we end up jamming [UPBEAT ROCK MUSIC PLAYING] - Just let me check if we're on. - Did you get any of that? - Are we on? STEVE LUKATHER: That's what happens when a bunch of guys walk around the stage, and go, what do you want to play? RINGO STARR: Give me a bit more piano, Bruce. I've known these guys for a long time and the connection just gets deeper. Jamming is so great because we're just five, six, 10 musicians let loose, following whoever's leading. Say the guitar moves it, or the bass gives the line, or the drummer changes it from a waltz to rock. I just love the openness of it. All right, stop everybody, stop! - Two, three. - No! I've got a call! Stop! God's sakes! Hi out there, young musicians. I'd like to tell you something great, that I made a few phone calls and Nathan East on bass said he's coming over. Joe Walsh on guitar said, yeah I'm coming. Steve Lukather says, I'm coming too, and Jim Cox on piano over there said, I'm coming, too and Gregg Bissonnette on drums, Jim Keltner on drums. My name is Ringo and I'm on drums. We're just going to jam, just so you know that you can just hang out with your pals and rock! STEVE LUKATHER: I like that New Orleans thing, man. Come on. [JAZZY ROCK MUSIC PLAYING] - We rehearsed a long time for that. Well that was fucking fun, okay! That's all I got to say. When's the last time you had fun? It really was. - I'm trying to get through just to say MasterClass, we love you! And I want to thank you for putting all this together for us, and ending up on stage with these boys is just fabulous. And I hope you like the jam, that's just for you who are watching it. Ringo's MasterClass. The jam. Okay, you've got it, brothers and sisters. Peace and love, peace and love, peace and love!
