How you doing? Hi, I think I went the wrong way. That's OK. Have a seat. Oh my goodness, here we are. Yeah. Did you ever think you'd be on the stage here? No. Cause I passed out flyers and stuff in here, like the lineups. That was my job. And I worked in the gift shop here. That's too funny. And so now here I am with you. That's crazy to me. I'm excited for you. I am too. Well, thanks for being a part of this master class. So now we're going to let everybody hear what you do. So let her rip. OK. Here we go. Oh, wait a minute. Is this a song you wrote? Yes. Yes. This is a song I wrote called Stay. Stay? How long ago did you write it? I wrote this about five months ago. It's just about knowing that it's not right in a relationship, but still pursuing it. And then figuring out in the end that you deserve better. So, yeah, that's what it's about. OK. Now, you've really piqued my interest. Here we go. [MUSIC - "STAY"] You're like traveling around with the windows down just waiting on the rain. You're like the end of the movie that you don't expect and it's driving me insane. I want you. I hate you. I need you. I thank you for watching as I fall. But I need you back in my arms to help heal the scars. Need this to be your wake-up call. Cause, boy, you should've helped me figure out, oh, boy, what this feeling's all about. With your blue eyes and your sweet smile got me wrapped up in your charm. But your stubborn ways and the things you say got me worried about my heart. Oh, I'm worried about my heart. Well, baby, you know it's getting pretty hard to believe the things you say. It's like I'm all right with you telling lies if it keeps my pain away. I want you to want me. Don't care if you can't be here for everything. But, now, she's in the picture, walls getting thicker, and I'm starting to fade away. Cause, boy, I'm trying give you one more chance, oh, boy, to keep the right to hold my hand. Cause I've been there and it's not fair for me to take the harm. Tell me why I'm still by your side when you're not worried about my heart. Mm-hmm. Very nice. Very nice. You got a lot of those? You write a lot? Yes. I write all the time. Yes. Good for you. That's a great song. So what happened? So I actually ended up finding out he already had a girlfriend after I was pursuing him. Oh, no, that jerk. I know. He's not a very nice guy. But I have multiple songs about him, you know, how that goes when you're-- Yeah. But they're all the great songs. So I hated that I went through it, but I'm happy I went through it. Because now I have an amazing boyfriend so that's in the past, and I just have great songs from it. So how often do you perform live? I sing downtown ...
