The 6 Books RuPaul Recommends
When he’s not judging the drag queen contestants for his reality show or acting on screen, RuPaul likes to read, with his booklist including titles such as:

- 2. Toxic Parents by Susan Forward. Drawing on case histories and real-life examples, this book teaches adult children of toxic parents how to heal from childhood abuse.
- 3. A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. This spiritual self-help book encourages readers to transcend ego-based states of consciousness by undergoing honest self-evaluation.
- 4. Animal Farm by George Orwell. An allegorical tale about the rise and fall of a rebellious society of farm animals who strive to create their own civilization based on equality and happiness.
