Recognizing Suspicious Emails Claiming to Be From MasterClass

đź—’ Note: Some scam emails may use domains that look similar to MasterClass but are not official MasterClass email addresses. Always check the full sender email address before interacting with an email.

Scammers may send emails that look like they’re from MasterClass in an attempt to access your personal information, payment details, or account. These emails are known as phishing attempts.
Before clicking links, downloading attachments, replying, or sharing any information, always check the sender’s email address and domain carefully.

    Check the sender’s email address
Official MasterClass emails will come from a legitimate MasterClass domain. If an email looks suspicious, review the full sender email address, not just the display name.
For example, a display name may say “MasterClass,” but the actual email address may come from a domain that is not affiliated with MasterClass.
We’ve seen scam emails sent from domains such as:
    • @masterclass.works
    • @masterclass-team.com
    • @masterclass.xn--cm-5ja
These are not official MasterClass domains.

    Avoid interacting with suspicious emails
If you receive an email that appears suspicious:
    • Do not click any links
    • Do not download attachments
    • Do not reply to the email
    • Do not share your password, payment information, or personal details
    • Do not enter your MasterClass login information on a website linked from the email
Instead, go directly to the MasterClass website by typing the address into your browser.

    Protect your account
MasterClass will never ask you to share sensitive account information, such as your password, by email.
If you believe you may have interacted with a suspicious email, we recommend updating your MasterClass password and reviewing your account for any unexpected changes.

    Report suspicious emails
If you receive an email that appears to be a phishing attempt, please contact MasterClass Support and include a screenshot of the email or the full sender email address, if available. This helps our team review and take appropriate action.

For your safety, do not forward suspicious attachments or click any links in the email before contacting us.
