Downgrading Your Membership Plan Through Third Party Apps
If you purchased your membership directly through our website, visit our Upgrading and Downgrading Your Plan article for instructions.
Downgrading your plan through a third-party marketplace does not qualify as a refund or reset your 30-day satisfaction guarantee period.
iOS (Apple App Store)
If your purchase was made through the Apple App Store, you can downgrade your plan by following these steps:
- Go to your Apple Subscription Settings on your device.
- Select the plan you want to downgrade to and confirm the change.
The downgrade will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Android (Google Play Store)
If your purchase was made through Google Play, you can downgrade your plan by:
- Canceling your existing subscription.
- Once it expires, purchasing a new subscription at the desired lower tier.
You can view and manage your subscriptions through Google Play Subscriptions.
Roku Channel Store
If you purchased your membership through Roku, subscription changes must be managed directly through your Roku account.

As outlined in Section 3.3 of our Terms of Service, MasterClass cannot process refunds, adjustments, or downgrades for subscriptions purchased through third-party marketplaces such as Apple, Google Play, or Roku.
