Creating and Managing MasterClass Profiles
Profiles are the best way for you and your household, to keep track of your favorite classes in progress and on your watchlist, and receive personal recommendations based on your watch history. MasterClass allows you to add five additional profiles (6 in total) with your Duo and Family subscription.
You can perform the following actions to manage profiles:
Add a profile
The Account Holder's profile for your MasterClass account is automatically added during the sign-up process. To add a new profile you must use a computer, desktop, or laptop and follow the steps below:
- Log into your account
- Select your Profile on a web browser, it is located in the top right corner
- Select '+' Add Profile
- Enter a profile name
- Upload a new profile image (optional)
- Select Continue
🗒 Account Holder's profile is the subscription holder’s profile. This profile cannot be deleted. This feature is currently available only on the website.

Switch Profiles
When sharing devices with others in your household, you can switch profiles using the following steps:
- Select the Profile currently in use
- On a web browser, it is located in the top right corner
- On a mobile device, select the My Progress tab (2nd option on the bottom), it is located in the top right corner.
- On a TV, it is located on the top right corner. Then select the Profile tab on the left navigation bar
- Select Profiles option
- Choose the profile you want to switch to from the list of available options

Edit a Profile
To manage your profile’s playback, language settings, maturity settings, use the following steps:
- Select your ProfileÂ
- On a web browser, it is located in the top right corner
- On a mobile device, select the My Progress tab (2nd option on the bottom), it is located in the top right corner.
- Select Profiles option
- Select Manage Profiles option
- Select the profile you want to edit
- Adjust any settings you would like to edit including:
- Profile Name
- Image
- Location
- About Me
- Maturity Setting
- Select Save
Unlink an Account from a Social Media or Third-Party Account
Unlinking an account linked to a social media or third-party account will instead allow you to log in using your email and a password.
- Log in to your account
- Select Settings
- Select the "Create a MasterClass Password and unlink your account here" link
- Follow the ensuing prompts

Delete a Profile
Please note that deleting a profile is a permanent action: that profile cannot be recovered. You can’t delete the Account Holder's profile on your account, but you can edit it if needed.
If you’re ready to delete a profile, follow the steps below:
- Select your ProfileÂ
- On a web browser, it is located in the top right corner
- Select Manage Profiles option
- Select the profile you want to delete
- Select Delete Profile
- Confirm your selection
