MasterClass at Work: Admin Implementation Guide: Additional Resources
Additional Resources
Engagement Resources
After your initial launch, leverage additional resources with your users to ensure the highest level of utilization and engagement. To find the Resource Center, click the Admin tab in the top right corner. When you're in the Overview tab on the left side of your screen, scroll down to find the Resource Center.
Discussion Guides
Discussion Guides are course guides that enable users to deeply analyze MasterClass courses with their peers. We invite users to think critically about what they have learned via group discussions, self reflections, and group/partner activities. Clients who introduce Discussion Guides and accompanying “book club” meetings tend to find higher engagement rates and success of MasterClass amongst their user base.
MasterClass provides Discussion Sheets for our most popular business courses - you can check out the full list of Discussion sheets here. If your organization does not have access to Google Drive, please contact csm@masterclass.com and we can send you resources directly.
Learning Paths
MasterClass Learning Paths draw lessons across a diverse pool of instructors in order to portray different perspectives amongst similar themes. These “playlists” of sorts provide a way for you to sample the entire catalog and explore more instructors. You can choose to hone in on a specific skill or desired trait that you want users to focus on. You can find skill based Learning Paths here.
Roundtable By MasterClass at Work
Roundtable by MasterClass at Work is a cohort-based learning program to provide you and your team with the opportunity to grow, discuss, and have candid conversations with one another. Roundtables range from five to ten weeks and focus on a particular course. Each week, individuals are expected to spend 30 minutes or less watching the designated lessons. Included in the Roundtable By MasterClass at Work Resources are roundtable usage guidelines, Introduction and Instructions, email copy and banner to send to teams, and the Roundtable Guide for each of the seven courses.
Individual User Tracking Request Template
Use this template to submit a request to MasterClass at Work to enable Individual User Tracking for your organization. A MasterClass at Work representative will email you once this feature has been enabled.
MasterClass End User Guide
To provide your users with more help on getting started with their accounts, you can share the MasterClass End User Guide with them. This guide covers how to redeem their email invitation, take the account setup tutorial, and start watching MasterClass courses.
Final Tips & Tricks
- Try to send out MasterClass invitations and any announcements earlier in the week if possible (Monday-Wednesday). Invitations sent on Fridays tend to have lower engagement rates.
- Along with emailing users, announce your MasterClass at Work partnership in a live meeting, along with an intranet post (ex. Confluence, SharePoint, or Coda, etc.)
- Send out regular (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly) reminders to users about using MasterClass. This ensures users don’t forget about their MasterClass accounts, which can sometimes happen with “set it and forget it” approaches.
- Clients that take advantage of our Engagement Resources (like Discussion Guides, Roundtables, and Communication Templates) have the highest rate of success.
- Set aside company time and send out calendar blocks (such as 15-minutes a week before a lunch time) for users to watch MasterClass.
- Create a channel where users can talk about what they’ve learned and share recommendations (via Slack or other tools).
