    Why Tracking Individual User Engagement Matters
    Understanding how individuals engage with MasterClass content allows administrators to support learning retention, identify high performers, and intervene when necessary.

    Key Engagement Metrics
    • Lesson-Level Metrics: Drill down into specific lessons within a course to see user engagement levels. This helps identify where learners disengage or need additional support.
    • User Leaderboard Report: Displays top learners based on minutes watched or engagement scores. This is useful for recognizing highly engaged users and motivating others.

    How to Enable & Use Individual Tracking
    MasterClass at Work is required to gather individual user consent, in accordance with our privacy policies, before sharing this data with administrators. When this feature is enabled, all users are required to accept consent to continue accessing MasterClass. If they decline, they will not get access to the platform within the organization account.
    1. Activating Detailed Tracking: Individual user analytics must be enabled in platform settings. Once activated, administrators can access detailed engagement reports for each learner.
    2. Consent Process: Some organizations require user consent before enabling individual tracking. Check company policies before activating this feature.

    Best Practices for Using Individual Tracking
    • For instances where this feature is turned on mid-subscription, we recommend sending a note to users as they will be required to accept consent before being able to login again.
