    Key Metrics Explained

    Engagement Metrics:
    • Minutes Watched: The total time users have spent watching video content. This helps gauge overall engagement but does not indicate content completion.
    • Unique Active Users: The total number of unique users over a preset or custom time range who have consumed at least 1 second of any lesson. A lesson is any individual video on the platform.
    • Average Minutes Watched Per User: The total minutes watched divided by the number of unique active users over a preset or custom time range.

    Lesson & Course Metrics:
    • Average Lessons Watched / User: The total lessons watched divided by the number of unique active users over a preset or custom time range.
    • Total Lessons (Per Course): The total number of lessons included in a specific course.
    • # of Lessons Watched (Per User): The number of lessons in a course that a user has watched.
    • % Lesson {X} Completed: For each lesson “X” watched, the percentage of that lesson completed, calculated as minutes watched / total lesson duration.
      • This data is only available if Individual Member Tracking is turned on, learn more here.
User Engagement & Platform Adoption Metrics:
    • % Active Rate: The number of unique active users divided by the number of unique redeemed users over a preset or custom time range. This helps measure overall platform adoption.
    • Average Lessons Watched Per User: The total lessons watched divided by the number of unique active users over a preset or custom time range.

    User Movement Across Teams:
    • When users switch teams, their historical engagement data remains intact but is reported under their latest team placement. This may affect how you filter reports.

    Understanding the Impact Score
The Impact Score is based on user feedback collected after watching three lessons. This score provides insight into perceived effectiveness and engagement.
    • Requires at least 10 survey responses for accuracy.
    • Effectiveness Ratings require just one survey response.
