The Kamikaze Cocktail Recipe

The Kamikaze cocktail was originally a shooter—a small cocktail served in a shot glass—however, it evolved into a fully-fledged cocktail served in a chilled cocktail glass, like a Martini glass or coupe. The word “kamikaze” is Japanese for “divine wind.” The Kamikaze cocktail recipe contains equal parts vodka, triple sec, and lime (similar to a Margarita, which uses tequila as its base liquor). Sometimes blue Curaçao liqueur is added to this classic cocktail in place of triple sec to turn it into a Blue Kamikaze.
