In a mixing bowl, combine all of the compound butter ingredients and stir until the ingredients are well distributed. Alternatively, add the ingredients to a food processor and pulse until well combined.

Lay out a piece of plastic wrap and spoon the butter into the lower center portion of the plastic.

Fold the edge of the plastic wrap tightly over the butter.

Roll the butter away from you to form a log shape.

Twist each end of the plastic wrap to seal.

Transfer the compound butter to the refrigerator and chill it for a minimum of 1 hour before serving.
